Elon Musk spent Friday talking up rockets, chips and revenue to investors, then spent the night boosting clips of his own interview. This edition covers 7:01 a.m. PST Friday, Nov. 6, to 7:01 a.m. PST Saturday, Nov. 7. It quotes his posts with a link to each, pairs claims with other sources where the desk found them, and follows Jacob and Isaac’s topic order, refreshed Saturday against their Nov. 6 episode (YouTube); SpaceX leads today because the Baron chat dominated his feed. His one public appearance in the window: the 33rd Baron Investment Conference fireside chat, which TeslaNorth says he joined virtually (TeslaNorth). Video follows at the end.

Highlights. He told Baron SpaceX will try a tower catch of Ship 42 “in about a week from now” and posted that both stages will try for a catch on the next flight (). He framed a $500 billion run rate for December 2027 as “my best guess,” not a promise (TeslaNorth transcript). And his most-viewed post recruited engineers to Terafab ().

On the Cybertruck, a day after announcing its wind-down, he told Robert Scoble, “We are still building Cybertruck for another 8 or 9 months btw, but then Tesla needs to focus on scaling Cybercab” (). On chips, he replied that moving wafers in vacuum means “no pump down is required” and “would greatly improve cycle time and yield” (). The desk did not audit the Australia or Korea sales claims he amplified.

3. X. He knocked down a viral post that put words in his mouth about Binance: “Yeah, I never wrote anything like that. This is made up” (). The Crypto Times reports the post by That Martini Guy claimed Musk attacked Binance’s 80 percent market share, and that Changpeng Zhao had already called it false (The Crypto Times). He also reposted a meme calling him “a free speech champion” ().

4. Neuralink and Boring. “In the coming years, @Neuralink will enable people to walk and use their hands again,” he wrote over a clip of patient Noland Arbaugh (; ); the clip’s poster notes full-body restoration remains a future goal, “not a capability achieved today.” The desk found no Boring Company posts.

5. Grok Bot / xAI. Three reposts. @stark0xbt shared a clip of investor Gavin Baker saying, “Grok Bot is the most impactful AI product to me and to the firm that we’ve had yet,” and “I think I’m up to like 17 Grok Bots” (; ). @XFreeze called Grok’s speech-to-text “literally the best there is,” even with loud music nearby (), and described a stranger showing how he “manages his usage limits” on Grok Bot (). The desk did not verify those user claims. Grok Bot’s public changelog still lists v0.78.1 (Oct. 27) as latest (Grok Bot changelog).

6. AI and compute. Over a Baron clip in which he says agentic traffic “already exceeds human traffic,” he wrote, “Roughly doubling revenue at scale for a large company used to be something special, but super intelligence makes that look slow!” (; ). He answered “It’s true” to his Baron line that opposition to data centers fades where they get built (), wrote “Super intelligence leads to abundance” over a Cochise County supervisor’s claim of a 20% county property-tax cut from SpaceX’s Arizona site (), and replied, “Information traveling through space in our solar system will ultimately exceed current Earth traffic by a trillion trillion times. People have no idea” (). He joked that pulling power cables makes “a great workout” (). He also reposted a data-center build-out defense by @thejefflutz () and Kalshi’s note of a Google $15 billion Malaysia data-center plan ().

7. U.S. politics. His second most-viewed post, about 7.2 million views, quoted a suggestion that he offer Democrats a list of his federal contracts to cancel: “Exactly 😂 … Happy to cancel any that the government doesn’t want. Just say the word!” He added that “government revenue will be less than 10% of SpaceX revenue this quarter” (), and earlier that “SpaceX revenue this quarter alone will be substantially higher than NASA’s entire annual budget!” (), then replied, “NASA FY2027 budget request is ~$18.8B” (). He called the hosts of the I’ve Had It podcast “evil witches” () after Collin Rugg posted that Cash App dropped the show over a Charlie Kirk joke; Cash App wrote, “we are no longer sponsors of this podcast,” per The Beltway Report (The Beltway Report). 10. Culture and jokes. He called an Arthur C. Clarke line about “ship” meaning “spaceship” a “Beautiful quote” (), answered a mitochondria post with “That was really hard though” (), laughed at a “Tech CEO’s on January 3, 2027” meme (), posted a 1:14 video with no caption at 7:50 a.m. Friday (), and reposted his own 2024 line that “going balls to the wall for autonomy is a blindingly obvious move” ().

Deep dive: the Baron chat and a Starship catch next week

Musk joined Ron Baron virtually at Lincoln Center for the 33rd Baron Investment Conference, TeslaNorth reports (TeslaNorth). On revenue, he said SpaceX tracks toward an annual rate “in excess of 100 billion dollars in December” and that “unless there’s some sort of, You know, natural disaster or something, we will we will meet that target.” For December 2027 he offered an ARR above $500 billion, then drew a line: “This just this this not a promise. This just this what I think will happen. This my best guess” (TeslaNorth transcript). TeslaNorth notes those figures stay forward-looking projections, and that Musk put the odds of $1 trillion at around 2% (TeslaNorth). He reposted @XFreeze’s write-up of that trajectory ().

On Starship, he told Baron the ship had made precise soft landings at sea and that SpaceX now feels confident enough “with ship 42” to try a tower catch “in about a week from now” (TeslaNorth transcript). On X he called catching both stages “the critical breakthrough needed to make life multiplanetary” (), quoting SpaceX’s “Go For Orbit” film (). Teslarati reports Flight 15 targets Friday, Nov. 13, per SpaceX VP Kiko Dontchev at the UP.Summit, with no official mission page or launch time yet and no Flight 15 license on the FAA’s Starship page (Teslarati). He reposted @SawyerMerritt quoting him: “You really want to watch this one. This one’s cool. It’s the largest flying object ever made” ().

On Starlink, he reposted Sawyer Merritt quoting him that V4 “will have 10x the capability of V3” with 10-terabit laser links, then wrote, “~100 lasers per satellite, each operating above 10 Tb/s, with over 100k satellites should be able to outcompete undersea cables” (; ). On orbital compute, he replied, “When we unveil the details of the Starmind computer next year, it will blow people’s minds” (); TeslaNorth reports he expects the first StarMind launches, co-designed with NVIDIA, in the third quarter of 2027 (TeslaNorth). On leadership, he wrote, “Armies that win have the general at the front lines. Nobody wants to bleed for the prince in the palace,” over Baron’s question about his on-site Airstream (; ).

Then the board news. CNA reports Harrison notified SpaceX of his resignation on Nov. 4 and that it took effect immediately (CNA). Musk said Alphabet conflicts drove the move (). CNBC reports Alphabet holds the largest institutional SpaceX stake, worth $74 billion at Friday’s close, and that Google agreed to pay SpaceX’s AI division up to $920 million a month for Memphis-area compute; Google told CNBC it remains “deeply supportive of SpaceX’s mission” (CNBC). CNA, citing LSEG data, adds that Google lifted its holding to about 555 million shares (CNA).
